Contribution in Medical

The Movement plays its active role in health sector through medical aid to poor patients suffering from cardiac ailment and requiring kidney transplant. The Movement motivates people through appeals published in 'Gujarat Today' to contribute for the ailing and manages the operations. The Movement has to this date managed 106 such operations costing Rs.54.37 lakhs.

Contribution in Education

The Movement endeavoured to motivate people to send their children to school who have left studies from 8th Std. thereby try to arrest dropout and on this score provided the financial assistance of Rs.11.54 lakhs to 2511 students. The meritorious students are given exposer on the pages of 'Gujarat Today'. The exposer is also given to illustrious educational institutions and introduce notable educational institutions of the country to the masses.

The Movement through 'Gujarat Today' motivates educational institutions to avail the financial assistance provided by State and Central Govt. for expansion of educational institutions and for commencing technical trades and its expansion and aid to the tune of Rs.5 crores has been received by various educational institutions in the state.

The Movement's associate 'Al-Ameen Lok-hit Charitable Trust' primarily works for promotion of education through financial assistance given to needy and meritorious students going for higher education in professional courses like medecine, pharmacy, engineering, information technology, management, biotechnology, bioinformatics, C.A., C.S., I.C.W.A. and such other job oriented courses. The Trust has helped 1228 students to the tune of Rs.108.25 lakhs as on 31-12-03.
